This 7-week practical course is open to those who have completed Trauma Healing 201 (previously named “Healing Bad Stuff, Trauma and PTSD”) who want to hone their mastery of trauma-healing practices. Each 120-minute class will feature a live demonstration between the instructor and a participant designed to highlight the topic of the week and the flexible application of the tools available. Participants are also encouraged to work with practice partners and will receive continuing education credit for doing so. At the end of the course, participants will earn the designation of “Trauma-Qualified”.
- Week One: Revisiting the trauma healing Heartbox: what you’ve got and when to use it
- Week Two: Regulating, Pacing and Discerning: what your client can handle and how best to intervene
- Week Three: Hot-buttons as portals to healing
- Week Four: Stuck situations and how to heal them
- Break to review materials and meet with practice partners
- Week Five: Introduction to Parts work
- Week Six: Healing Inner Critics and Soul integration.
- Week Seven: Case consultation and demonstration session
- Optional Practice Partner Sessions: 4 x 60 minute sessions with assigned practice partners
Objectives:
- Name three pillars of trauma healing
- Describe two important checks that tell you if your client is safe to proceed with trauma work
- Explain how situations get stuck and how to unstick them
- Demonstrate a tapping approach to transform an inner critic to an inner champion
Continuing Education Summary:
- 5 Core Competency credits
- 11 Resource Development credits
- 4 Optional Resource Development credits
- TOTAL: up to 20 hours of ICF approved credits
